Busybee 1968 weight loss tiered.
I lost quite a bit of weight last year going down to 81/2 stone, probably due to reoccurring infections. I started eating puddings I have never been a one for sweet stuff but it did the trick maintain just under 9 stone now. Think you do get spells being tired though rest when you can Val
Hi bb - you should realy check in with your doctor about this, especially if this has been a recent sudden loss, your doctor being aware, I am sure will want to check a few things. Ask doc if you can be prescribed a nutritional protein milk drink called fortisip, or perhaps something similar to add to your existing diet and help you maintain weight.
When it happend to me years back I had a very sweet syrupy fruit drink, but my Mother had fortisip and have to say I preferred that.
In the meantime you might want to check BLF's pages which cover this:
blf.org.uk/Page/Healthy-eating
and NHS Choices page for underweight adults:

Busy b thanks for feedback. Back in hospital soon i will mention fortisip. Usually cant tolerate food replacement drinks, but need to Try something look rediculous.
I went down from 11st 3lbs to 9st 6lbs a couple of years ago, due to constant infections. For me it was good because this is my ideal weight, but do wonder what will happen next time.
I try to organise my evening meal in the morning because I am so tired by 5pm I can hardly be bothered to cook. Some days end with a sandwich.
The last few days I have been more breathless than usual and feel tired all day, I am hoping it will pass in the next couple of days, just been taking it easy.
