I don't normally do these type of painting, I have had a small one on the wall I painted ages ago.

Anne wanted a larger one and put the small one elsewhere - So I painted her her this.

Just chatted to a friend who has fibromyalgia and she is learning to sketch via a you tube video. I said about your paintings and how relaxing this one is and how you find painting relaxing. She said learning to sketch has the same effect.🙂👍xxx

you are obviously used to using colours . and always cheerful and you say you are now retired . can I as what did you do for a living, before you retired..?

i get photos sent on to me that often include sunsets and sunrises .

Actually it is all about clouds and very interesting giving explanations. Today it was a view of sun rising in the east, but it looks like a sunset because of all the dust and smoke in the atmosphere absorbs the cooler colours and that gives that warm orange colour.

personally I have never liked green any where so would have preferred a different sea

I worked as a plant grower in a nursery - I used to grow cutting and send them mail order. Before that I was in finance/insurance in Surrey, some 240 miles from my home - Did not like that job at all.

There are lots of different sunsets arn't there - dark blue merged with orange, and that enable an orange cast on the sea -
