Lignosus

I have just been reading about Lignosus supplements (tiger milk mushroom), for lung conditions. Has anyone tried this, and if so, what was their experience? It's quite pricey so wondering if it's worth trying! Thank you.

I’m afraid I am very sceptical about things such as this. If it was so simple am sure lots of people would take it!

Ultimately only you can decide whether or not to try it BUT do check with your pharmacist prior to taking it. It could be a contraindication for other medications you take.

Thanks. After I posted I saw a similar thread, doh! I also tend to agree with your comments so won't bother!

Hi - it's for sale and expensive and not prescribed by doctors. I have not tried it but to be honest - I have no faith in anything the pharmacutical people have not marketed.

Yes thanks, I saw that after I'd posted. Most people seem not to be impressed with it.

Maybe best saving yr money. Some people recommend mullein leaf tea.i take vitamin d,vvit c omega 3 capsule and pro biotics.ive just added in magnesium 3in 1.the c,d and omega 3 help prevent my hair loss - if I miss 3or4days,ilose more hair, from the root x

Ah interesting, mine is getting thin too. Vit D3 is said to be good for hair regrowth but I already take 3000iu of D3 daily 😭. I agree, we do need extra vits & supplements to stay as well as poss. (But not the above mushrooms). P

The best thing I find for dealing with my morning coughing and breathlessness is a nice cup of coffee, Drink it as soon as possible and it always settles my coughing and breathing down better than the inhaler I take. Brian

I once ordered some lions mane mushroom syrup in a small bottle with two other mushroom names tried all three to be used in tea coffee or drinks - sadly I didn’t benefit from these expensive concoctions but they sound great but didn’t do it for me

I've seen these advertised too. It's tempting to think something natural could help, but I'm very sceptical about these. Several years ago I decided to try Chinese medicine, he gave me a concoction to make into a tea which he said Chinese people all take to manage their lung conditions. Itwas heavily fungi based, the most revolting thing I have ever tasted and no effect except on my bank balance!
