Was going to try a live castle but realised athe painting went, canvas far to small so a ruin castle was allI could make.
My next picture Thursday or Sunday will be a large canvas with a Sarengeti scene. I think I need to order some larger canvas for the odd painting. - Amazon have every size .

Hi ern this is a nice alternative from your previous paintings but it really does look like somewhere lovely to visit .reminds me of carisbrooke castle. I hope you are on the mend too now.🏰
Fantastic work Ern as always, seeing those spring flowers makes my heart dance and that beautiful graceful swan. My tulip and daffodils are coming on lovely now, just need the weather to warm up a bit.
A bright and eye catching painting. I liked your castle and also your clouds. Your home must be a joy to see many of your paintings. Hope you’re feeling better. 🤗
That's a nice castle- doesn't look too ruinous- someone should restore it. Love the subtle grass colouring. We went to see Tenby castle last year and found just one wall is left. Those Welsh are great recyclers, 😊 Chris xxx
As always your beautiful painting looks very colourful & picturesque👍 Ern, I would suggest that you are absolutely very artistic & also extremely gifted, your magnificent workmanship is indeed a real tonic to look at & brings so much happiness and joy to many..Thank you Ern!!! ( PS. Hope that you are feeling better today) Primrose 123..(Maria)..💘 xx
Yes, weather has been absolutely dreadful Ern, but however spring will soon be upon us,& hopefully will enable us to enjoy 🤞 some long awaited 🌞 sunshine....💕🌻🌷 Maria.. xx
I love summer with it's warmth Maria but, no season has flowers that spring provides. Last autumn and this winter have not had exteme temps, but gosh, the cold weather has hardy let up. 😀 xx
Considering the dreadful dark dreary winter days & nights, Ern, you have certainly managed to bring a touch of 🌞 sunshine into our lives, which has brought much pleasure & happiness to all your dear friends here on HU,which has been a great asset to all..Many thanks to you for sharing all your wonderful paintings with us Ern, we very much appreciate your kindness... 💕& God bless..xx Maria..
Hi Ern, I’ve been away from the forum for a good while but pleased to see you’re still doing your paintings. I love the colours and the flowers in the meadow. Makes me think spring can’t be far away, as I listen to the rain lashing down outside! I hope you’re as well as you can be x
Thank you Threecats and pleased to see you back posting - Spring will soon be here, to make up for the poor autumn and cold winter. I am getting there x
