"Graveyard Gate" Not the painting I wanted to post.

I have spent hours on a painting a comprehensive Halloween painting, complete with Silhouette of a vampire and his castle.

The painting to a while because I struggles with the grain in the cotton - Lines would not stay straight,

I got it looking reasonable and I tried it on my FB page,

Once posted on my page - Could see every flaw in the cotton. Was not fit to use.

Serves me right for buying a cheep pack of three canvas,

I will redo it on a decent canvas,

So the Halloween painting I am posting tonight is OK, but not spooky at all IMO.

You do really well Ern. Pete is doing a little better thank you but he’s in a lot of pain especially when standing. It’s going to be a long job I think. Xxx🩷

Hi Carole, it’s good to know Pete’s doing a little better though I’m sorry he’s still in so much pain. At the risk of asking a silly question, I guess he’s still in the hospital? 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🤗

Thank you HH. Pete is still in hospital because he can’t really walk due to the pain. I’m hoping he’s home fairly soon as it’s our golden wedding anniversary coming up. Xxx😘🤗

The hospital aren’t interested and just want him to be sent home today with no plan in place. I’m disgusted. Xxx

Sounds right - They are good at "no plan" I would be disgusted also. I hope he has painkillers that will help him.

Oh Carole thats terrible, is there nothing you can do or somebody you can speak with. Honestly the level of care now a days is pretty sad, I really feel for you and hope something can be sorted before he is discharged x

That could be due to the treatment you have been having Carole, I am sure they will get you back on track but is something you could do without at the moment you have enough on your plate, take good care x

Thank you I finished it but I know half way though, impossible to paint a line without tape, then the weave showed through. It had lots - different even from my last one with the witch,

Well I am comparing with a ultra spooky and maybe a darker painting, - I think maybe the color is relaxing., I think people react differently. Thank you and welcome xxx
