Carbocysteine and low blood sugar

anyone had low blood sugar - especially overnight when taking Carbocysteine. I’m on 2 3x a day. Waking up with dry mouth too.

Good morning I have carbocstine and my blood sugars are always on the low side because I have reactive hypoglacima I have to eat a little bit of something every 4 hours I would get checked over at the Dr's x

Thankyou for this - I was intending to get checked. Waking up with a headache is not good.

I have had no such problem with carbosystein, I have been taking it for 5 years now! I do wake up with a dry mouth, but then I think I sleep with my mouth open!! In fact my blood sugar, at present is a bit too high, I have been told to cut down on my sugar intake.

Hi Fruityface, I'm not sure about my blood sugars as I don't know how to measure them but I do wake up several times a night with a very dry mouth. In the day time I suck on 100% orange juice lollies but at night I use a mouth spray. I have Bronchiectasis and take Carbocisteine tablets 2 x 3 times a day,
