can anyone advice the best one to get, husband is very poorly, it would also help me with breathing, need a very quite one 3in 1 devise that really works .

Hi,

I am currently waiting for confirmation of a Asthma diagnosis, I have had increasing breathing problems this year.

I bought a Philips Air Purifier, 800i series, model AC0850/31. Has a HEPA, active carbon, pre filter ... bit pricy but worth it. Currently around £160. Suggest you Google it and read specificatíons.

Have a read of this post from janedivney a few weeks ago. She also gave an excellent update on it a couple of weeks later which you can find by clicking on her name in her post. It sounded brilliant, I only wish I'd known about before I bought & used two plain dehumidifiers @ £180 each (to cope with a flood). Good luck, P
