After what happened at Easter - I did not paint a stable or anything like that

I've just realised it's the way you have shaded the pink candles that make them look full-bodied and waxy!

Spot on David. with using Cadnium Red and not fully blending. make them appear waxy.

It's a beautiful painting, Ern!I don't know (or remember!) what happened at Easter. I think you should be able to show any of your paintings here really, as long as they meet the decency guidelines.

If it was to do with faith/religion, well, we're all adults here and can choose to pass by any post we don't want to see.

However, as you have posted such a beautiful picture today, the outcome is good!

Please don't let anyone put you off posting in the future.
