asthmaandlung.org.uk/groups....

This should be a link to the free of charge asthma UK mindfulness course. I would have a look at doing that.

Read up on controlled pursed lips breathing technique, on Aluk website.itll steady yr breathing & help u to relax.anxiety makes breathing worse,so if u practise this,eg whn watching TV,listening to music, itll become easier to use it when u need to - walking, going upstairs, struggling with breathing, for anxiety x

Hello,

It’s tough going sometime isn’t it ?

It might worth discussing with your GP as well.

I was like that this summer, very tired and much more breathless than usual. It turned out that my Ferritin - iron levels were very low. Began the prescription from the doctor and felt better very quickly.

As someone has already mentioned the support groups online with Asthma + Lung UK can be very helpful.

You can also tune into this every week live or there are plenty of sessions to use in between. Excellent for anxiety.

Hope you feel better very soon. Let us know won’t you ?

Go well

Pauline

I take an amino acid supplement called L-theanine when I'm feeling anxious and it seems to help a little. I would recommend doing your own research and maybe speak with your health provider first. I have spoken with the guys on asthma and lung helpline but they cannot advise on supplements.

I would ask your gp to check your b12 , this can make you tired all the time x

It's good to rule out those things first. If it's your breathing perhaps speak with your gp about Oramorph it's supposed to help x

Personally, I think Trimbow has increased my anxiety levels - it is a horrible feeling.

I take Magnesium OK supplement. Magnesium plays a part in helping muscles relax.

You could try talking therapy for anxiety. It's hard work but it works. Also yoga has many benefits. Crafting helps me too. Good luck!

Some of my Christmas crafts.
