Yes but it can be improved with nutrition, I use raw green smoothies (see Reversing Bronchiectasis with Green smoothies on utube) I also use Hay System. been on it 3 yrs now with good results. keep lung clear with pep device or acapella.

Agree with zube. Keep up your clearances. I do 30mins in the morning (I just get up earlier) it's amazing the results. Good nutrition and adequate exercise is a must. I also use Acapella pep device although I find it beneficial for low volume exacerbations and deep breathing exercies with 'huffing' for high volume. Diagnosed 3 years ago and finally in my 3rd year have managed my condition. I feel great! Good luck to you em1rit.

I do things in the morning as ,as the day goes on my Batteries feel like there are draining ,and I always end up dosing from about 8pm and in bed by 10 I just work my life around it .Our lungs are working as if we are running around all day even if we are doing a Julie Waters waitress look a like , so thats why we get so tired take care Jackie

I am always exhausted. Make sure that your vitamin D and iron levels are ok as that can add to the tiredness. When I'm working I reach a point in the day when I just collapse. I'm currently on holiday - first few days with friends in France I did too much. We are now on a campsite in a mobile home and catching up on my sleep. There is a slope up to the mobile home - I walked it earlier and slept for an hour!
