I read in my mums local paper that urine testing by AI with somebody with COPD can detect an oncoming exacerbation around a week before chest symptoms occur. There was no link to research/original article though. Colchester Gazette. It’s available on line. Has anyone else heard about this? Take care 🦊x

Makes sense actually due to the bladder and lung being on the same ‘loop’. Very often particularly in older people a urine infection is there along with an active chest infection.
