Oh dear, you’ve gone from worry about the anaesthetic to what’s next if no surgery, bless ya. Hope the BP settles and they come up with a management plan soon. Don’t Google the treatments etc but concentrate on dietary intake to help reduce flare ups of gallbladder pain and reflux you probably are doing everything right but know you have support here when it’s getting to you. Take care 🦊x ps my sister had her stones dissolved with medication, ursodeoxycolic acid I think.
I would be confused too. They have told you that you a high risk without saying why? Also, why were you referred for the op if you don't need it after all?
I would contact PALS at that hospital and tell them what happened and that you don't understand what you've been told. They should be able to get to the bottom of it for you.
xx
All she said was that cos I'm high risk ain't got a clue how she came to that decision so quickly but cos I've just recently started with acid reflux she said its more like to be acid reflux than gallbladder cramps she looked at me previous endescopy results and said they found inflammation in tummy n biopsy that was taken where normal so she's wanting a repeat... One of blood tests that been requested is crp I loojed that up as I do 😁 n it's for finfinv inflammation in body x I did also say that when I'm bloated I find it hard to breath she said that cos I have copd but who knows I'm just so ready to have gallbladder out.... My childhood friend had her gallbladder out via emergency 2 months ago she has angina insulin independent n copd n told her she was at high risk she had operation n she's stil alive as she put it lol x so don't see what prob is
Oh n she smokes and had fag before surgery x
If u have inflammation in stomach and reflux,it's right to treat that first.it is for them to decide, weighing up benefit v risk.write a list of bullet points of what u want to ask at next appointment
What baffles me Is that they know I have had full gallbladder for yrs now so they should be doing everything possible to remove it.... When I first had ultra sound bout 10yrs ago I only had small stones bout 6 in bile ducts nothing at all in gallbladder... I WASN'T having no trouble at all then bout 5yrs ago I was having terrible stomach ache so off I go again for ultra sound was found no stones in bile duct but in gallbladder so again was told if any thing changes to go back gp for referral n last year I was in agony again so off I go for endescopy this time was told inflammation in tummy so again I think your getting picture... Nov of last year was called by hospital for updated gallbladder ultra sound only this time gallbladder is full of stones I asked while I was there if any in bile ducts she replies no I can't see any... Off I went home til I get phone call saying I've been put on waiting list for removal of gb n you know the rest sorry its such a long essay much love guys ❤️
