Bipap insurance?

Good morning everyone, I have recently had a Bipab machine from the NHS for carbon retention ( I'm on oxygen 24/7) on the info that came with the machine it asked me to add the cost of replacement (£3,000) to my house insurance, no one has verbally asked me to add this. I've been trying to amend my policy online to no avail, so phoned them. Saga inform me as it's a loan I dont need to insure it. Thinking about it, I dont insure my concentrator. I'll phone up NHS tmoro but just wondered if anyone has insured any NHS medical equipment?

I have a vpap machine, 2 large concentrators and a portable concentrator from the NHS. I’ve had them for 3 years. No mention of insurance has been made. The only thing we were told to do was to tell house and car insurance that we had oxygen cylinders.

I use a CPAP for my sleep apnea. Never been asked/told to insure it!
