I joined this forum just a couple of days ago and I just want to say how much I appreciate the responses and helpful information people have given me already. A lady from the Long Covid team sent me the link after I complained I couldn’t find a bronchiectasis group anywhere. It’s been a bit daunting being diagnosed with a condition I had never heard of and knew nothing about. So thanks for all your invaluable support.

I joined for much the same reason as you. Like you I was puzzled to be diagnosed with an illness I'd never heard of. Neither have many other people including, I fear, quite a lot of medical people. Luckily there are people here who know a great deal and will happily answer any questions. xx
