Semi Abstract Orchids.

I don't normally post this type of art. Some history with this - I had painted a waterfall that went wrong, quite a while ago.

I was blacking canvas to use again and I saw I brick and rock that looked 3D

I made a painting. This is a remake of that painting.

With real poor light, best I could get was not a close up. The close up showed more but spoiled with light.

I know this art is not everyone's cup of tea. I just wondered did anyone like this type of painting..

Thank you Helen, Mind you I shy away from walls these days. Could not show a close up of this, as light was grim and a black canvas does not look good close to a lamp.

You are very artistic Ern , wish I was, I bake when I’m well enough although I did manage to make my friends parents Christmas cake this year again. Should be fun decorating it.

That's gorgeous picture love it you should get some frames for all you're pictures and display them if I was you I would be proud off you're good work take care

Thank you - Interesting post. the canvases I use are stretched canvas over a 1/2" frame and provided the sides are painted , they can be hung with no frame, I do have some hung at home. Canvas board would need framing, I think most artist are using them, as canvasses are bulky to store, Again - Thank you.
