Hi. We're you advised to rinse your mouth and gargle after using it? That really helps prevent irritation and prevent getting any oral thrush.

Get assessed for Thrush (Candidiasis). Always gargle after a Trimbow dose, and if you are diagnosed with Thrush, use a new toothbrush (a tip from my pharmacist.)

I always use water after I’ve used my inhalers (twice a day) and a mouth wash. The Doctor suggested trying a mouth wash. Haven’t had the problem of thrush since.

I couldn't get on with Trimbow and went back to Anora Elipta. The pharmacist said to gargle afterwards as my throat was sore and that really helps.

Hi,At first Trimbow didn't seem to work for me but slowly on it became better and better for me.

I can't do without now. Sometimes I forget to puff and I can feel this short after.

I need two puffs in the morning and two puffs in the evening. But sometimes in the afternoon I have breathing problems and I can't find out why.

(My respiratory nurse will tell me off reading this) I take just one extra puff and that's helping.

I know you should not abuse medicines but not able to breathe is not a nice feeling.

The blue inhalers like ventolin or salamol don't help me much. ( I'm on constant oxygen therapy)

I was discharged from the local respiratory clinic on the basis that my gp prescribed Predisilone & Doxycycline as a rescue pack when I get an exacibation of my asthma symptoms. That worked but recently does not touch it. X-ray done recently still awaiting spirometry appt? I record peak flow, BP and O2 levels daily so know when I am going to have problems.

What is Trimbow ?

Had asthma up to age of five. Then it went but returned after my folks got me a cat when in rehab from surgery when I was 21. Been with me ever since. I am 69 retired and after a few bouts of pneumonia that have not helped my breathing.

Thank you

Pedro
