My free anti virus app keeps offering me protection against all sorts of nasties if I pay them money. Or there are a couple of nice computer men in this town who could no doubt do the same. Trouble is it all costs money.

Is it your router or did it come in a package from your internet service provider? If the latter, can the ISP help?

Hi there , if its going through the router your provider may be able to reduce it. Microsoft have a free system that stops some interference from hackers etc. I have Macafee but it does not stop all and costs nearly £80 a year so Ok its only£1.50 per week but all these things still don't stop the hackers, it cost me £50 last time and a new laptop. I don't have a laptop anymore as its difficult to get a wifi compatable one in the cheaper range. Plus whether it is free security or paid it does not stop them all it just limits the amount.
