Mine was a day visit too. It was quick and painless and I didn't need any recovery time.

I’ve just been advised I have nodules up to 8mm and am having a CT scan next month. Bit worried obviously but it’s good to read that some here have had biopsies that went well

It's similar to having a CT - a needle is used to take a sample - it is not painful - so only at the hospital for a very short time. Then it's just waiting for the results which can take a while, as the lab has to check your sample, then the 'team' will discuss it. I find the waiting for the results is always the worst part.

Hi Chrissca71 , afraid my Biopsy for cancer went awry saying I will need another date to try again. However that's because of my other health issues . I am sure you won't have any problem . I did not realise they did this treatment for lung nodules too. Good luck it is only day surgery generally accepted procedure nowadays. But very worrying if you are of an anxious nature. Take Care
