I think it is a very individual thing. One persons well day is another persons bad day.I still use my blue inhaler a few times a days and possibly a few days per week. But thats probably just an average. I also use a nebuliser

I have asthma and bronchietasis. Its finding your own balance.

I use my inhaler before anything I imagine will be strenuous or when feeling it is required.

Sorry probably my post is not much help or answering your questions

I don't need to use my Ventolin much at all, except when I'm not well. I do use it if I'm going out in horrible cold weather, or if I'm about to do something strenuous. Teddyd is right- it's a very individual thing.

I really don't need it when everything is under control with Incruse and Fostair. I have asthma and bronchiectasis.

Hi Dottie11 I use my ventolin three times a day as its to control my cough. Can be used maximum of two puffs four times a day . When you have a cold or other infection it often needs to be used more. Sounds like you are using it at a sensible level to me.

My local nurse told me that Ventolin can be used up to ten times a day, but the effectiveness is only good for half an hour at a time.

Late reply Dottie but I have three inhalers, Ventolin, Atrovent - I won't count Fostair I used Atrovent a lot more than Ventolin. I think for COPD it is better.
