I’ve been in hospital for 3+ weeks while they try to work out what is causing me to have spikes of temperature, even though my infection markers have dropped. Last night I was told I would be having a bronchoscopy this morning, so not

a lot of sleep! I forgot to ask how long these results take to get to the consultant.

The knew my results straight away. I had to wait about 1-2 weeks for results of any samples they took.

I hope the bronchoscopy goes well. As monster moo says the only results you’ll have to wait for is from any samples they grow.
