Hi I am the same MezTez, what I use is a tip from my respiratory nurse, when you cant breathe and if your like me get into a panic. Stand still and get a hand fan (battery operated) and place near your mouth and nose. The air from that helps you calm down and breath better, I now carry one in my bag or pocket and it really does help.

I hope it can help you, Another one is the one that the armed forces use. Is to look at something Square ( window or wall tile etc) concentrate on inhaling as you follow the out line of one side, then breathe out slowly down the next side, and then inhale on the following

and you should be calmer and breathe easier on the last remaining side.

Happy New Year. 😊
