Simply Swans.

I was going to post a Tropical Sunset - But I think there is curiosity about the "swans" I mentioned in my last post.

So I am posting swans but not on a lake in a field - Rather a silhouette painting of two swans and a vivid background.

I got inspiration for this simple painting from a US artist named Sky.

They are beautiful Ern and almost make a heart shape 🫶🏻 Very good indeed.

I am very low on potassium so am taking tablets for a few days and will have to book another blood test. Fingers crossed things improve soon. Xxxx🩷👍

Thank you Carole - Sorry to here about your blood tests. It's a pain keep having these tests, Despite taking iron tablets I am still anemic so now I am on folic acid as well.

On Monday afternoon GP wants to see me over blood test last week, Monday morning I am there having more blood tests - good job I live very near.

You are low on "potassium" I have never had that, are there symptoms? Yea my fingers are crossed also Carole . Hope your new blood tests will be better news, xxx

It is a pain as the surgery have no appointments so I need to go to hospital instead.

Good luck to you for your blood tests too.

The symptoms are the pins and needles and cramps plus heart arythmia. Hoping the potassium tablets work.

I have an irregular heartbeat, (AF) the tablets I take are toxic, destroyed my thyroid.

Not very nice having all them symptoms on top of everything else. I hope the potassium works for you,. It also helps to keep your blood pressure down.

Yes l have AF too which has been troublesome recently but hopefully will be better when the potassium levels go up.

i take losartan for blood pressure and i havr been told that it lowers the potassium levels . dont know how true that is . they have stopped taking bloods to check .

Yes so do l. The thing is I have no idea what the radiotherapy has done to my body so hoping things will improve in time. Thank you for replying Jaybird. Xxx😘

I’m glad they’ve found a cause for your symptoms Carole. I hope the potassium tablets do the trick . I’m a fellow member of the AF club🙄😀

On a separate note and with apologies to Ern for hijacking his post, my neighbour who’s also had radiotherapy was rushed to hospital last week. It transpired her platelet level was very low which can be caused by RT on the pelvic area , apparently. She’s fine and back home now and it sounds like your medics are checking your bloods anyway, unlike my neighbour, who seemed to be left to her own devices once the RT had finished. Anyway, I just thought it worth a mention as something they should keep an eye on, for you.

Keeping everything crossed that the potassium starts sorting your neuropathy x

Thank you Threecats, AF is such a nuisance.

I’m pleased your neighbour is doing better now and thank you for sharing her story. I’ll check about the platelets too. I have a follow up phone call with my consultant in 4-6 weeks so that’s good.

Good for you Carole - Platelets matter, so good they are in range. I have just looked online, bloods not to bad, platelets lower, but they go up and down. My urine results not as good. I think that could be due to that probing op.. xx
