I have contacted my GP practice and 2 local pharmacies. None of them know in advance which flu jab they will be giving. They say to 'phone the week before. I got the impression the staff didn't know there were 2 different ones, a 3-virus one and a 4-virus one. Has anyone else explored this?
Ugh, in the US, my best friend just tested positive for the flu today after going into ER last night with dangerously high fever. I hope it is an isolated case and not an early beginning of the season. I have had the vaccine 2 weeks ago, but who knows if they have the right strains in it this year. Time will tell I suppose.
