We went to Blackpool and the weather was good (Really) - Seems good to get away for a while, been a long year. The hotel was nice and had entertainment in the evening, which is good.
I have had all my treatments thus far - I have had my 'Nuclear scan" on my bones.
Now it's a matter of waiting for my next 'Cystoscopy' to see if my treatment thus far has helped - They will take 4 biopsies at the same time.
This probably will be in the next 3-4 weeks - I expect even though GP ordered Nuclear Scan - I will find out all at same time, unless my GP thinks she will give me NC result.
Hope all are keeping well in this heat - I came from warm seaside to hot village.
This is a photo of late sunset, sea was misty so lucky to get any.

Thank you Carole - Glad your have started your treatment, waiting can be very hard. RT I think is very good. Hope after all my hints, I go down that road.
It was a change to be at the seaside, my fav type of holiday, what made it easier my daughter Victoria took us and brought us home. xx
Be nice near sea - When we used to go overseas, it was always a seaside destination. My mother was born in Blackpool so was used to it as a child. Yea Vicky offered - I was glad, not keen on driving these days.
My three children near always take City destinations. Not really for me sightseeing a city.
Must be nice living near the sea and that, helps plants be more hardy. xx
Ah Blackpool. That takes me back some as my family are northeners that was our nearest seaside resort. Spent many a happy hour there but not for a long time now. Glad you enjoyed it.
I too live by the sea like sassy and absolutely love it. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
My parents used to take us to Blackpool when I was young, there was no abroad then - used to be packed out - Was good fun - It still is even after a couple of decades of abroad holidays.
Must be nice to live by the sea, I live in a green belt but not quite the same, Southport nearest seaside town to me, about 18 miles.
So glad you had a decent holiday, both you and your wife. Is Blackpool going to feature - in stylised form- in one of your paintings? I hope the test results are good news and that the next lot of treatment is successful. xxxx
Thank you. It was a change. last night I was thinking about doing another seascape, but my eyes would not let me paint the tower - Sea at Blackpool often resembles the colour of steel. Large beaches and a long coastline.
Nice feature is from the North you can see from Barrow to the S lake District so long as good visibility . Quite impressive. xx
Thank you - Was taken from Hotel Room . Our hotel was 5 miles to the north of Blackpool proper. which did make the coastline very atmospheric , We had a gull in the mornings, I put some food through the window top and sure enough, it was caught. Seaside gulls seem huge somehow. x
I always go up north end of Blackpool and also the prom is not packed, it's nice and go into Blackpool as we wish. Would not like a hotel near central. although nice I rather have quiet where staying.
The gulls were huge, I mean compared to the gulls on the village duck pond, or seem to be.
Glad to hear you had a good time in Blackpool, the picture is lovely . I have had some good times in Blackpool too in my time since I was a girl going with my mother. My eldest son lived there and worked on the pleasure bleach for many years. Did not realise how old the big dipper was till watching a show on TV the other night. Best wishes with your treatment and hope you can holiday again soon.
Thank You - My mother was born in Blackpool, we went quite a lot - My uncle worked with Charlie Cairoli the circus clown - Big dipper is still there but dwarfed with the Big One, which is quite huge,
So nice your Blackpool trip was blessed with good weather Ern , its great to be near the sea when the weather is good and certainly lifts your spirits. Wishing you all the best with your results x
Thank you - Yes to me a holiday is the sea, even when we went abroad, was always to a seaside destination. Blackpool was a welcome change and I loved it was packed. x
My very first Acrylic Painting was a seascape. I am in the middle of a Northern Lights Painting. lights are impressive but trees not Fir Trees not right. Yea I will do a seascape - There are different kinds - Of course I will keep you posted xx
I took my youngest son to Blackpool every year and now he takes his children. It's a destination I've loved but now I'm too far away so we go to Cromer xxx
When I was young, Blackpool was the place to go for Northerners and Scottish people. Even as a teenager I used to go to the Pleasure Beech and Winter Gardens.
Cromer is very nice in East Anglia nice part of UK - Home of Banksy's Brown Crabs I believe. x
Thank's PatKI agree - I am just going to post update on Scan set up by my GP - Come back clear of Bone Cancer - So one less worry - Left is node on lungs but it's not got larger in 6 months or more - Bladder Cancer has invaded lining but not muscle at last count. That could be good news as I may get the treatment I wish,xx
