Hi I've been given carberstien syrip 5 ml 4 times a day I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this I have copd and nas drip and on morning I cough terribly ta clear my chest

It sounds like your post nasal drip is causing you problems overnight. You may need a sinus rinse to sort your sinuses out.

Hi I went to e n t consultant he said everything OK he give me nose spray I have had sinus problems for thirty yrs always been a problem when I get up in morning s I cough cough it does eventually clear before I go to work but could it be with my copd sometime s it's baffling and a pain

I’ve been under ENT for years and have had two operations to widen my sinuses. Over the years all the doctors I’ve seen have recommended using a neilmed sinus rinse. My current doctor also recommended using sterimar. I have Bronchiectasis so don’t know much about COPD. Perhaps sleeping with an extra pillow may help.

I normally use menthol crystals or Vic vapour rub under nose ent fella said boil kettle put plug in sink tip hot water into it and just inhale as often in day as you can I did that after 2 days it all came away from nose he also give me avamys nasel spray once a day I've not had a problem since but sinus comes and goes but when it lasts 13 weeks it harrendos
