I am in middle of painting a new Space Painting so I thought I would paint my first ever on here, I was going to post an alien abduction but light to bad to photograph it.
I like this as it was my first venture into Space/ sci-fi. Hope I have not posted this before, I don't think so.

Thank you, I have painted for a while, first watercolor then acrylic. It's just practice - I could not creosote a garden fence, I remember that when I was young.
Hi Ern - I am most interested in the white parallel bars (well that's what I call them.) They made me think about perspective and the order in which they appeared. I wonder too what thoughts you had when painting them in! Or are they yet to be coloured? Anyway, it's an interesting picture with an interesting landscape and colours. I especially like the green on the right! I will now have a look at previous paintings so don't be surprised if you receive a comment or two from me. 👍
Hi - Good questions = The white bars or poles. It is perspective/depth. If I had not painted them in - the rocks would have been to close - Like a landscape with hills, if you paint trees, it shoves the hills back, an illusion. I won't be coloring the white poles in, the white adds to the mystique i think, The green I love that, called Cadmium Green and has a spooky effect - I use it for nebula's - I will be posting a giant planet with nebula in a few days. Thank You.
