I absolutely love how you have painted those planets, but suspect you've used a cloth to create that textured surface. Very, very realistic! I'd wish for more of these landscapes/universe paintings in 2025. Yesi love the starry sky- a real sense of depth and timelessness. I reckon you are a professor of physics Ern, there is a narrative running right across the canvass, including the tiny speck of green light in the foreground. Is that your house Ern?
Thank you David. The texture was created with a sponge. Much better than a brush. The Green in the forcasr was just there, I thought it belonged, Yes there will bemore David, I will try and follow up.
I like it nice colours it is different but a gives me pleasure to see such good art work I've never seen anything I haven't been keen on all you're art work has always been great keep going I'm happy to see any off you're art and appreciate to see them
Hi Ern, just wanted to say I absolutely love your daily posts - they really cheer up the day. I adored this one - very reminiscent of the 1960s soviet art and also the 1950s/60s illustrations for books featuring the obsession with space travel. (I'm an avid book collector). If you don't mind, I'm going to have a go at printing and framing your picture! I also love your paintings inspired by the tremendous folk artist, Maud Lewis - keep 'em coming!Wishing you a very happy and healthy 2025 and keep on treating us to your art.
Hi TDM2023. Thank you for your kind comments. Of course you can print and frame, no problem. I started off years agowith Space Paintings. Maud Lewis I discovered via a friend, I have notice that some of my own paintings have a kinda Maudie look.
Just last week I watched Maudie on Netflix. for the second time -Really shows her from adult to the end. what a brave person.
