Infection it is …

They have determined the strange things poking out were stutures which for whatever reason didn’t dissolve like the rest.

Localised infection he thinks but a team ( I’m important) of infection and wound specialists are coming in tomorrow to confirm and recommend action plan.

The view is start on antibiotics for 3 days but should no improvement the surgeon says he will cut me open , about 8 inches to deep clean the area around the hole.

Had lung biopsy earlier , the greedy sods took 8 slices.

They let me watch on the screen but I lasted a minute and drifted off to sleepy land.

Waiting now for both swabs and biopsy results hoping no rejection signs which apparently a third of LT patients get in first 6 months.

85 year old Albert arrived home from shopping and his 84 year old wife shouts from upstairs “Albert, I want you to come upstairs and make love to me”

Albert shouts back “ it will have to be one or the other I can’t manage both, make your mind up”

Night night everyone, sleep snuggly.

Xx

Love the joke and good to see you can still have a sense of humour regardless of what you are going through, I hope that you will get the infection under control. 🙃

Fingers crossed the antibiotics work for you.

Your joke reminded me of this one. Hope you like it.

Three sisters aged 82, 84 and 86 live in a house together. One night the 86-year-old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses. She yells down the stairs, “was I getting in or out of the bath?”.The 84-year-old yells back, “I don’t know. I’ll come up and see”. She starts up the stairs and pauses. Then she yells, “was I going up the stairs or down?”.The 82-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, “I sure hope I never get that forgetful”. She knocks on wood for good measure then yells out, “I’ll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who’s at the door”.

I hope they do not have to cut you open again. But so be it if it's the only way to get you back to health. I hope by Autumn at the latest all this nightmare will be behind you. Those lungs will be very fussy if they want to reject you, Mr. B. Best wishes. Keep the jokes coming. xxx Chris

Well I sure pray it is a mild infection that can be treated with an antibiotic and not any rejection issues. Good luck. Albert is certainly older than me but I think we have a similar problem. 😊
