You should follow docs advice Susan, people with lung issues live long and full lives there are many medications for the many conditions affecting the lungs so you will have to find out more about your lung condition for your own peace of mind so do please go to the clinic.👍

I go to the lung clinic this Friday i shall ask them everthing as i am still in the dark ,i shall be there for 3 weeks as the specialist told me my lungs were improving them my doctor tell me the lungs specialist says hes run out of ideas,so my doctor wrote to my health insurance to check if they will cover me they finely agreed. Thank you for your advice,i shall be asking a lot of questions. Unfortunately i shall never trust any. Medical people again as I really trusted in the lung specialist abd it's gone as he lied to me.

Thank you lgf15it very much the care God Bless you always. 🙏🏼

I imagine nearly all of us here have damaged lungs, but we manage. The lung clinic sounds a very good idea. There should be experts there who will help you live your best possible life.

You don't say if anybody has told you what your problem is. Emphysema is I believe lung damage, probably caused by smoking. I am convinced that a in 2014 a run of chest infection from end of March into November, by Staphylloccus Aureus, resulted in me protracting Bi-basal Bronchiectasis, another form of lung damage, found by a CT scan. The infection was sorted by an intravenous AB. Also, I think black mould residing in ones home can cause a lot of problems. We've eradicated the black mould we had in our bathroom, and had no chest infections since.

I would say all of us with lung disease have damaged lungs. Just the degree varies. A lung clinic sounds a good idea, hopefully an appropriate treatment plan can be established for you. Hope you feel better soon.
