This is the front of the letter from my other post. It wouldn’t let me post 2 photos

hi OOtto, I think I'd be fairly similar. It doesn't actually say 'discharged ' unless I've missed it. I also think I'd like another check up in a couple of years minimum to ensure you're still okay. Personally I'm a fair bit worse from when I was 64 & that's with doing everything I can to stay well. Best wisheto you. P

Thank you for your reply. I would like at least one appointment to speak to a consultant about my diagnosis. this is the front of the letter I also posted another post with the reverse of the letter which says they have not currently made any further appointments for me. I've had 2 phone appointments during Covid but none face to face. The letter dosn't actually say discharged so I'm unsure. My GP practise still only seeing emergencies & I doubt they will have any knowledge of Bronchiectasis anyway. Everyone here have been great with advice but I cant access any at hospital which is my concern. Thanks again.

you're not alone there October. It seems as though everything to do with NHS has gone mad.

Try writing to them, and emailing and posting the letter.

Ask very clear concise questions, and say what you want.

It might not work but it puts the ball in their court. At present it is in your court.

If this fails and you start to feel worse ask your gp to re refer you. If you cannot get an appointment with gp, email and write to the gp, so it is clear they are failing to act.

Thanks. It was my rheumatologist who first referred me to Respiratory as they found Lung Nodules on an X Ray when changing medication screening. My rheumatologist is out of my area & therefore so is this Respiratory team. My GP's & their systems are not compatible so cannot read each others notes although my GP obviously gets all clinic letters. He therefore would not be willing to re refer to this team. Also any letters I have recently sent to the GP's have been scanned onto my NHS App then filed without action. I find writing a waste of time but I can e mail them. I'm currently on the waiting list for a routine call back from October last year for a swollen knee! When I enquire I'm told I'm still on the waiting list. I'm not being negative its just how it is & certainly not acceptable. That said I will try. Thanks again
