Drained

I have finished my 2 courses of antibiotics and steroids and seem to have fought off the infection at last, no more blood and multicoloured mucous from nose and clear mucous from chest.

Need to start getting my flat back in some sort of order (rubbish down to chute and recycle downstairs, I live on the 4th floor) but feeling drained and wiped out at the moment, not helped by being badly constipated due to medications.

But still, things seem to be looking up so onwards and upwards.

Thank you all for your helpful responses to my previous posts.

Waiting for my Tesco delivery (no eggs again)

Take care everyone

Try not to rush yourself too much at this stage. When I have needed several courses of antibiotics and steroids it has taken some time to recover even though original infection has gone. Be kind to yourself!!

Don't bother too much about the state of your flat; it'll keep. You need to take it easy as you recover, as the others have already said. Glad the medication is taking effect at last.

I had a severe Chest Infection during Christmas, felt the same way, no energy to do anything in the house and then one day I felt better and started tidying around. Do it bit by bit, Bernardine 🤗🤗

I’m glad to hear that you seem to have got rid of the infection, but please don’t do too much too soon. You need to take the time to fully recover.

I hope you have a lift to your flat. I live in an upper floor maisonette with no lift, Still it 's exercise I suppose.
