Yes he was struggling with his breathing. Unfortunately he has now also been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis so is experiencing a lot more difficulties.

Some of us have had morphine. It was suggested for me but I'm allergic! Now I'm on codeine linctus for the coughing and oxycodone to help with breathing. (Plus inhalers) etc.

I have just been prescribed Oromorph but it doesn't seem to be doing much 🤷‍♀️ xx

many many people are prescribed liquid Oromorph, it's such a low dose it's unlikelyto be addictive.

Contact your GP tolet them know how you felt on taking it.

ive used liquid morphine sulphate also named oramorph 2.5ml dose which I use an oral syringe to take dosage because it is a small amount to take accurately, it is very good for settling my breathing it does work well for me, I've used it for 3yrs now with no problems at all, you must stick to the recommended dosage with such meds and they can help your breathing so much, i think folk are put off when they feel they are now taking morphine, it is a very small dose and not enough to cause addiction

I'm on longtec (oxycodone) and codeine linctus and I'm shocked at the improvement in my symptoms.

I asked the chemist for a baby syringe as the dose is so low and, as you say, its, important to be accurate.

Hi devon29 I would definately keep at dr, we have to try different meds to find out which works best for us I know how frustrating it is struggling for breath you should talk to doc again.
