Hi PaperMan36,

I am so very sorry for the situation you are in regarding your health, and am glad that you have your daughter to take care of you. Like everyone else, I wish there was something I could do. I can pray for you and your family and that you are given the love, peace and strength that you need.

As a note of caution, could I mention to you that it is not a safe thing to do in putting personal details such as email addresses on an open forum. I am sure most people or members of this forum are genuine people who only need help or want to help. However, you can get trolls and others who just come on looking for mischief, and that is why the guidelines advise us not to put any personal details openly on the forum. If you need to communicate privately with someone then there is always the private messaging service you can use and your details remain private. You just click onto your picture and scroll down to messages, and there you are. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but our safety is paramount. Its up to you paperman, but if it was me I would be deleting your post in which you give your daughter's email address.

God bless you, and I wish you all the best. hugs xx

Hi Porche, I was just getting round to you, but thankfully you beat me to it. Its so easy to slip up like that, I have nearly done it myself a few times. When you feel a connection with someone or have things in common it is natural to reach out and want to communicate on a more personal level. While everyone so far that I have "met" on this site, is fantastic you never know who could be lurking around just watching. Its sad that we have to think like that, but that's the reality of the world we live in. Take care of yourself, hugs xx

Thanks huggs I too have deleted my e.mail..I just didn't think about it..I am seriously ill myself and see there is always someone worse off than yourself...Thanks once again Regards Laura x

Hi again porche,

I am sorry to find out that you are so seriously ill. You are going through a lot and are clearly very unwell. I looked at your profile and you are so young to have all that going wrong with your health. I hope you get your operation soon, and that your quality of life vastly improves. As I said, in my first reply to you, it is very easily done, especially when doped up to the eyeballs. I am just glad I spotted it, and you are very welcome. I am sure you or someone else would do the same for me. Don't worry about it. Just take care of yourself.

Kindest thoughts and good wishes, hugs xx

Hi Porche,

Thanks for your support and sympathy. It is much appreciated. My appetite is slowly improving, but I have setbacks. I am now at the stage where I continue to have two slices of toasted cheese each day. I also have 2 or 3 small meals a week. That does not sound much but is an improvement. What I am really miffed about ( being very polite here) is that I have not lost much weight. I am overweight so they will not give me anything like these drinks. I drink constantly and they tell me that is what is keeping me going, but they are empty calories. I just do not have an appetite most of the time, and at times have had to force things down. I feel if I could get my appetite back then I would be much better. I am taking multivitamins, vitamin D, Folic acid, and B12 injections. I am completely exhausted by about 2 or 3 pm and fall asleep for a couple of hours or more. I am much better than I was a year ago, so I am trying to remain positive, but I cannot get out unless by taxi or car and can only walk short distances. However I can see light at the end of the tunnel now, where I could not before.

You take care now, and be good to yourself. Big hugs from Huggs. xxxx

You are suffering like us all, its a cruel world we live in..Cheese is good for your bones,I love it but it don't love me..I don't get out much any more and such a hassle remembering to take every thing with me I get exhausted so I just give up..I am trying to chat to you on a lappy with half the keys not working.I am using onscreen keyboard its a pain..Will be glad to have mine back from shop..I can chat bit more and we can have good old moan together..Keep smiling.Big hugs Laura xxx

Ditto that Porche. Hope you get it back soon. I am tired now and my cat (Felix) is trying to wrap himself around my sore neck. I keep pushing him off, so he has now settled on my chest and laptop. Hope you get a good nights sleep, and then we can have a moan! hugs and kisses from Huggs xxxx

Hi Paperman,

You are welcome, and no harm done. As I said to Porche it is very easy to slip up when doped up and vulnerable. Keep positive and if you have any faith, then I am sure you are praying. I am praying for you and your family. You are right to take each day as it comes, and when you have better days it gives you more hope and can maybe do something simple that you haven't been able to do. Take care, hugs xx
