I've found a very useful way to sterilise it ..

They are BIMIRTH Resuable Microwave bags.. I got 16 bags which can be used up to 20 times .. they're for baby stuff but great for your nebuliser bits

I paid around £10 for them on Amazon

Have had this discussion recently. Can’t remember if this site or another one? I would be very wary sterilising/microwaving nebuliser bits? Not sure what bits you are trying to clean but there really is no reason to do this. Regular washing with hot water and leaving to air dry should be sufficient.

It depends on your condition, Bevvy. For those with conditions where infection is commonplace, particularly where infection with environmental bacteria like pseudomonas occurs, weekly sterilisation of both nebuliser and physio equipment is usually recommended. Most nebuliser manufacturers will stipulate sterilisation guidance in the user info. If you don’t sterilise the equipment, the bacteria expelled from the lungs during breathing/coughing contaminate it and begin to multiply. It can become a cycle of infection and re infection. How you sterilise is dependent on the device in question, but for some conditions it’s a very necessary part of maintaining your equipment.

I sterilise with a supermarket brand of Milton. One bottle lasts an age. I also leave the nebuliser running after taking the chamber off as I’ve had mould in the tube in the past.
