As I am sitting in the small bathroom with the nebuliser at full steam, I was wondering where others do their treatments.
In summer I often take everything out to the balcony, as long as air pollution is down at acceptable levels. But now in winter, it's too cold. Some winters ago, I tried a bedroom, but I got the impression that all the saline provoked humidity problems and rust on the curtain rails.
Where do you nebulise?

I have nebulised in my bedroom since 2001.Both antibiotic, salbutamol and saline. No problems with saline mist or condensation. The hospital should supply you with a tube to direct the vapour out of the window. I have never used it but you might find it useful. The nebuliser that I have at present has an attachment which contains a pad which collects the moisture. I hope that helps.
I usually nebulise salbutamol diluted with saline, and budesonid. All the small bottles(salbutamol) and single dose plastic varieties (budesonid, salbutamol+ ipatropium) are saline based. My nebuliser is a very basic one, no extra tubes, just a small compressed air tube connected to small cup and a face mask . But it is very similar to what they have hooked me up to in the emergency room. My face gets damp, and so do the surroundings. These days I only nebulise in the mornings, when I am really poorly up to four times a day

I don't quite understand why the surroundings to your nebuliser get damp as I have never had that and the others who have replied don't seem to have the problem either. I think that you may need to call the respiratory technitians at the hospital to ask for a solution.
From the other replies it appears Mooka has similar issues. I will look into the technical aspects, maybe the flotter thingy is too effective
In the living room all my gears there, I can get comfy for the 20 ish mins it takes to empty the chamber... why not?

Never really thought about it to be honest. Usually, use it in my bedroom.
How often do you have to use nebuliser? Wouldn’t have thought that nebulising is enough to create humidity or rust.

I always nebulise in my armchair in my living room, sitting by window. Can’t see much as glasses sometimes steam up, x
My late husband Bob used to nebulise on the dining room table, where he could easily keep all he needed nearby.
I do mine in a spare bedroom and sometimes in the garden in summer. You can get tubes to hang out the window or filters to put in the chamber but I think the filters would be expensive. I move all the stuff out if my grandchildren are stopping over as I was told others shouldn’t be breathing I. The antibiotic. I haven’t had rust but have noticed a sticky film on mirror and windows so no doubt on furnishings as well.
