When I got a high oxy read, the doc said my heart rate was up and I was at 97% oxy.So he said "it`s not your lungs that are the problem, it`s your heat". yes but take an oxy read at rest and it`s between 89-92% I can`t do the exercise you talk about, NOT even when I was healthy. LOL.
Please be careful don't try and push yourself to hard. Have a word with your GP or respritory nurse at least you will get goodedical advice and you will be safe. Have a lovely day and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻 o
I think that you will be OK to increase the amount of exercise if you are finding what you do now easy. In the UK we have a pulmonary rehabilitation course for people with lung disease. (Sorry but I don't know if these are available in Pakistan or not) The courses are run by physiotherapists who say it is OK to exercise until you are short of breath but can still speak a full sentence. If you can't do that you have done too much. Hope this helps.
I'm glad to have been of some help and I hope that the following will give you a bit more information.
What is Borg Scale of breathlessness?
This is a scale that asks you to rate the difficulty of your breathing. It starts at number 0 where your breathing is causing you no difficulty at all and progresses through to number 10 where your breathing difficulty is maximal.
This is the scale used at our pulmonary rehab courses Mushtaqparrot. Being able to speak a full sentence would fall around the middle range of scores i.e a score of 5 though individuals will vary.
