I have emphysema and have had intermittent hot flushes this winter. Way past the hormonal changes! It's a new feature if related to the lung disease but not one I'm concerned about. It's good that your blood tests were ok. As for clothing, I have found that loose fitting clothes have been the most comfortable for a long time now.
I get hot flushes too and am way past the menopause. Dungarees are the way forward! My favourites are by a company called 'Run and Fly'. They are bright and funky.
I sweat much quicker and more than what I used to and it takes me forever to get cooled down. It doesn’t have to be very hot out nor do I have to do much to trigger sweating and then it is hard to get it to stop even with a cold shower. This may be a bit different from what you are experiencing but I definitely sweat more and more easily than I used to.
I have awful sweats too. Just my head, back of neck and shoulder blades. I have copd and cope pretty well but this started after my Pfizer booster 3 months ago. I'm 68 so it's not the menopause although it feels like it.
I know think it's stress with me as well now living on my own with my son and cats as hubby left me but going to speak to a go tomorrow same with me neck and back pain as well x
I am the opposite, feeling the cold more this Winter. It never bothered me before but thesedays have to layer up .thinking of buying thermals , do they do them in lilac or peach and a bit of lace trim .well have to keep up appearances. LOL. Xx🤣🤣🤣🧣🧤🧤🧦🥾
I had the same thing about a year ago, same as my menopausal symptoms 22 years ago. I've started using the same medication as I used then - Promensil Red Clover extract which contain Isoflavones, not on prescription but I get from Amazon & Boots also sell. It takes a while to work (1 month plus) but they worked for me & I rarely have any 'hot flushes' now.
Cotton tops are very good to help ease hot flushes and the sweats.Polyester is the guilty party and the one to avoid if possible. Hope this helps as it,s horrible.
