good morning all, i have a cold coughing all night i use vic to help me to breath ,i do feel very bad ,what can i do ,doctor all closing today saturday

Maybe whiskey is great for immediate effect, but in the short term, I think to ring NHS Direct for their professional advice. Wise in case a chest infection is lurking. Also consult your GP, Monday, if necessary.

Take some paracetamol use oblas oil good for clearing the nose. Is it affecting your breathing - if so make sure you are using your inhalers. My husband doesn't like steaming but some people can tolerate it. Buttercup syrup sometimes helps. If you start to feel worse call the doctors. Take good care x x

hi there if you have an infection you defo need the correct meds,when i suffer on top of the meds if i get that dreadful tickle that wont leave i take a small swig of covonia original it stops the tickle in an instant giving me chance to get my air coz i can get a bit unnecessary and panic.i always have soothers wherever iam and a cold drink,im told honey works the same way.like you iuse vicks as i nod off too help or olbas oil.i hope alls well with you.Janex
