Going by your profile your condition appears to be Asthmatic based so i doubt that endobronchial valves would be a procedure that you would benefit from and you would need to elaborate on why you feel this procedure would benefit you? and have you had a conversation with your consultant to discuss this?regards

Hi skischoolThx for the reply

My breathing is getting worse. Had to stop working I last seen cons and suggested maybe treatment with biologic but he just seemed more concerned about cost. So just browsing to see poss other treatments fev1 36% just concerned I'm being left behind. Just a/b s and steroids and now mucolytics

Endobronchial valves are normaly inserted as a less invasive method of lung volume reduction surgery for patients suffering from Emphysema so i am afraid that they would probably not be beneficial for your condition but i do hope that you can together with your consultant find a way forward.Best wishes

I was tested for the valve's (I'm severe Emphysema) but unfortunately the procedure failed for me which then I was put forward for the LVR Operation and was performed at Papworth in February last year. Just so you know that it is not for everyone.
