Wild Flowers .

Hi all. I havent been on here in awhile but have recently moved into a little bungalow and have enjoyed a bit of gardening over the summer. ( I was in a flat before and all the gardens there were communal , so it is nice to have my own private garden now ). I decided to plant some wildflower seeds in june , planted in large pots and then transferred into the ground when they had grown well. They are still flowering upto now ! I think next years project will be a wild life pond.

Lovely carrina and even better that you have a new hobby. Much of gardening is learning as you go.

Try some Sorrel, makes a lovely spicy soup, a bit like nasturtium leaves.

My grandparents had nasturtium climbing up the side of the garage, as camouflage, Gran used the leaves in cheese sandwiches, I do not think they were poisonous😀☠️ lovely flowers.

It is so lovely to have a garden to sit in the summer months. I take my coffee out there and wouldn't be without it. It gives us fresh air , exercise and something to think about. You will find your own way with the garden, enjoy it x
