Hello Lewis27444,The tests which have been done and their results will have reassured you. However anxiety can be a terrible problem and affects our wellbeing in so many ways,.Try to distract your mind with activities, any activities.Do not just sit and think think think. If you discover this happening ,even during the night,DISTRACT ýourself.Pehaps get up,cuppa tea, read paper, watch TV,music, anything. When you feel tired go back to bed. Also pain makes anxiety much worse, take painkillers and or light exercise.Sitting thinking makes it so much worse.Try to do some exercise.Learn one of the various meditation techniques.Speak to Doctor about it.And yes,I suffer too and cannot always find that calm place. Also lots on YouTube.Eat well, keep well hydrated. All the best from Alun.

Thank you Patrick,very much appreciated.Keep safe,best wishes,Alun.

I think most of us have sputum which looks similar, or worse. Personally I wouldn’t worry about it. But if you are worried, just get a sputum pot from your surgery (or buy one at the pharmacy) and ask your gp to send it to the lab. Then you’ll know.
