This is one of my steam locos it's over two feet long with the tender, it's a Challenger 4-6-6-4 (train enthusiasts will know what that means

Enjoy

As always stay safe and well. Just had my adjustable pillow delivered. Hope I get a better night's sleep

That's an impressive loco. My knowledge of trains is confined to childhood spotting of steam locos. I can't recall any British engine having that wheel conformation. So is it US/Canada/ South Africa?

Hi yes all my locos are American

Thanks for looking, they are O gauge 1:43 scale by Lionel trains. I like the detailing, plus the all singing and dancing with the sound systems.

Got bless and keep breathing

Hi jaybird no the track is Lionel fast track I use various things for modelling rock features, trees, cars and people are from China and so cheap, I bought some buildings and cut them about. I have in total 14 locomotives diesel and steam, plus a couple of track cars. But as I have not long on this world, I always say you cannot take it with. The cemetery is full of rich people. So I am spending my children's inheritance now.

Take care and may God bless you and keep you safe and well

I am astounded. 14 ! That is in credible. How big is your track system? How big is your summer house ?

There was a programme on tv that i watched in the summer on a

.?competition showing quite complcated set ups ,signals and points Did you see it, òr did you win the competition. Do you share, show all this to other enthusiasts.

A lot of questions , sorry.

Take care

Hi Jay bird

I can only run three locomotives at a time, as my layout isn't that large it's a basic "there and back two track with a set of points at one end" this splits one track into three. As you are interested I will put up the history behind it all.

That's a brief explanation. I do have some photos on YouTube under my name.

Anyway stay safe and well and God bless.

now that i've read the other replies to this post, i'm going to make another suggestion. not if it's a trial, but perhaps on some of the colder days when a bit of time clicking the keyboard wouldn't go amiss, you might tell us more about your "train journey". starting, possibly, with why you chose this gauge and train type?

i shall look forward to anything you might write. it really doesn't have to be a full length book, but perhaps a little snippet with a picture when inspiration strikes.

and thanks again.

and my fingers are crossed for excellence from your new pillow.

Hi Earnie. I've never heard of an adjustable pillow. I have spent a fortune trying go get just the right pillow to suit me. So far I've not succeeded. Id be interedted in finding out how you find this new contraption and, importantly, if it works!

Cheers for now

I got the pillow from the Palliative care nurses at St. Luke's hospice, I have it installed just today, bits not very high tech. It consists of a pump to put air into the pillow lifting device, some people have said that they are difficult to get on with, but this will be my first night, so I will let you know how I get on after a week or so. The make is Mangar airflow 12 pump.

With a Mangar sit-u-up frame for the pillow to fit on. It hasn't cost me anything and if I cannot get on with it, then all I have to do is phone them up and they come and collect it.

As I am in the higher risk catogory, I can get a hospital type bed, but while I am able I will try to get by with what I can, as that bed could be used for someone else who really needs it.

Take care, stay safe and Keep well.

God bless

Thanks for posting Oldspark. My Uncle has a small track round his bungalow, I couldnt tell you what they are but he loves it, he has signals, people, lights, platforms, he has about 5 different trains but none as big as yours. I think its great if you enjoy it keep on running them. Good luck with your pillow x
