Evening out.

Hi to you all my long awaited 18th birthday meal with my friends after being locked up so long arrived and it was lovely to catch up with my friends some that I hadn't seen in over a year. Mum treated us all and it was the first time out as a grown up without her and dressed up as well mum had few tears and said kept saying lhow lovely I was. It was only few hours but worth the tiredness that I know will follow. Nurses phoned up decided to start me on new inhaler in the hope it will stop me getting breathless so will be starting it on Monday so time will tell. Oh I saw Peter rabbit 2 at cinema good film whatever your age felt safe in there as only one other person besides me and my two nans. Take care everyone.

How lovely to wake up to this happy post from you. What a great eighteenth birthday. Your Mum isn’t the only one with ‘sweaty eyes’ at the thought of you all grown up and enjoying your evening of freedom with your friends. How generous she is. One step at a time out into the big world just like the rest of us and you have the whole of your exciting life in front of you.

I hope that your new inhaler gives you some extra oomph!

I had a similar experience last week, Saturday. My daughter took me for a drink, seeing a few friends in the pub garden, that I had not seen for almost 15 months it was only the second time that I had seen her too. Almost an overwhelming experience, leaving me hankering for more. Take things steady though, we are not quite out of the mire just yet, hold off from becoming a Wild Child just a little longer. Pleased that you had a such a great time.

I'm so glad you were able to go out and enjoy your birthday. Hopefully we will soon be moving to a more settled way of life where you can enjoy more time with your friends. I'm going out for lunch on Wednesday, our wedding anniversary, and am SO looking forward to being out. Hope I haven't forgotten how to behave! 😂 Now Pokermon, what to wear . . .
