Well hi everyone, just a wee update on my bronchoscopy 18th march, apparently consultant could not get near the tumor to get a biopsy so they washed the lungs with salt water sucked out the flush and sent it away for testing, the whole experience wasnt too bad, still bit of sore throat and windpipe if that makes any sense, have no idea wats next MDT meeting due next Wednesday!!❤
Feeling tired: Well hi everyone, just... - Lung Conditions C...
Feeling tired
Take it easy Paula and rest. Let’s see what next Wednesday brings. Thinking of you. Xx💜
One step at a time is the best way to go. Try to relax now you've taken the first step. Onwards and upwards as they say.
Well you are now a step nearer and not to long to wait. Rest up and take it easy and best wishes for Wednesday, will be thinking of you as I expect many others will be also.🤗🤗🤗🤗 Virtual Hugs to you. xx
That must be a disappointment for you. I hope that the wash gives some clues and that the MDT meeting results in what the next best step is. Wishing you well, Carole xx
Sorry the bronchoscopy didn't yield any meaningful results- hope it at least made breathing a bit easier. Best of luck that next Wednesday's meeting brings something more positive. Take it as easy as you can till then. xxxx
Oh bless you! One step at a time! Remember you are amazing, every day! Hope that MDT meeting brings some clarity and help for the way forward! Take things easy and be kind to yourself!
Love ❤️ and hugs 🤗

No doubt you are feeling tired and will pray for good news at your appointment.
Good luck
This happened to me so next they tried to get a biopsy with a CT scan to guide the needle. This didn’t work either so eventually I had a PET scan which showed the tumour was cancer. I can’t believe they didn't do this in the first place, it would have saved me going through two unpleasant procedures! I had a lobe removed and made a good recovery. (It was at a very early stage). This was about 3 years ago and I’ve been fine since. Just have annual X-ray now. Perhaps you should ask for a PET scan next.
I've already had a pet scan 17/12/20 followed by a contrast CT scan 5/01/21 dont know what will be the next step..😥😥
I was told the pet scan was the best way of diagnosing mine. It showed my tumour took up sugar which is apparently a strong sign of cancer so I had to take their word for that and go ahead with surgery. Im glad I did as it turned out to be malignant. Best of luck to you when you go for your appointment.
Hope all goes well xx
