Yes I had one think it's to make sure we stay safe until we have had both jabs. I think

I get my second jab 17th April & im sure you have to wait 2/3weeks after that so probs will still have to shield until then

Yes I read that somewhere something like 7 days.

Yea I got mine too and I am not going to do it anymore. Doesn’t make any sense for me when my 3 kids are back to school and nursery on 8th March and will be mixing with upto 80 other households.

I understand the government taking things cautiously but we have had the vaccine now which is read today could be 95% effective and to be honest I can’t take any more of these lockdowns. I have pleaded with work to go back and thankfully I am from next week.

I am not saying this is the right decision for everyone but I am feeling quite broken after this last year of being incarcerated with 3 kids under 11 and need some sort of normality now.

I think 95 percent protected is pretty good as even now no one is certain about the new variants so like you once I’ve had my first jab ( slow in Norfolk) I shall feel much more relaxed about joining the world again . Take care though don’t be to relaxed 😊😊

😂😂

I think the letter is also asking that our GPs are kept up to date with any address, telephone and email contact change, should there be a need to contact us quickly.

Hi if you have had both vaccinations and at least a 3 week gap after the 2nd its tough. If not it makes sense. I know it feels like an eternity but it will be worth it.

🙋‍♀️Hi there mikecom1 and i agree with you in that having come this far and 1vaccine done, I've just got to do as asked and wait until so many days after my💉 2nd jab and 🤞fingers crossed, the Government will relax some restrictions and I'll be F R E E 😆.OMG I just can't wait but I need to be sure that I'm not expecting earlier "release times" unless Government have good reason to relax them.🙏. Stay safe yourself! 🐿🌈😷.

I have a 12 week gap between my first and second, then a three week wait before it allegedly gets up to strength so it will be mid May for me. A friend who has had her first has just contracted it and is isolating so seemingly best to ere on the side of caution.

Thats me when i got my 1st i was told by the nurse when i return on 17th April i will go another 3 weeks then i may be advised not to shield, she advised i wait to here the official plan what ever that is 🤷‍♀️

Yep! I'm in total agreement with you Mikecom1 and your dear friend who has had her 1st jab but even still contracted COVID-19, must feel very upset. Obviously as she's got the virus but also it is a warning to us all that until that 2nd vaccine has been given and a set period of time passed, none of us can afford to relax on the guidance rules the Government set out. So sorry for your poor friend. Do let us know how she's doing when you are able. Take great care of yourself and family.🐿🌈😷.

Me too. I’ve had two letters saying exactly the same things now. Stay safe x

Morning Julie14 and I too have recieved the very same letter 😪. I'm sorry to seem rather flat and boring but I've had enough of being 🛡shielded. I'm worried about leaving my house tbh but I'll get over that becsuse I need my life back (or as much as I'm able to salvage ). I will make myself .Even if it's a few steps at a time, I will kick this vile virus to the kerb. !! 🐿🌈😷x
