Hi Everyone- I wanted to share last Sunday I had the Oxford Vaccine. The only side effects for the first day was extremely tiredness but today I had sickness and hot and cold flushes which resulted in me staying in bed for the morning. I’m fine now - let’s hope no other side effects. I’m just grateful to have had it. There’s a problem with the second jab it got cancelled 😞
Hope ur all keeping well - picture of Mollie for you all

Mollie still looks like a well groomed Scruffy, albeit without the wonky head and dodgy eye,Scruff's slave also had the Oxford offering which left him with a slightly raised temp and muscle pains for 36 hours which gradually subsided and is back to full time duties,a second date was never offered.perhaps they don't think he will last that long? 🙃😹
Lololol I love this - Mollie is very demanding since I moved - she will sit waiting for the slave to groom her - especially if the slave is having a bath - a first where she actually tried to get in.
Yes I got the confirmation of second dose but then a confirmation of it being cancelled - if I’m still around in April I’ll just turn up and say I made it through from feb
Hector and Pepparuby are minding their own - since I moved we don’t have a cat flap so what happens is there’s chaos at the back door every time o go into the kitchen - both staring at the door handle - then when I open it they’re out! Although. I think hector has found a gf / Pepparuby does a walk about for one minute and runs straight in
I got my jab on Tuesday, effects zero, didn't even feel the needle, happy I've got a chance of getting through this without catching it at all.As ever our NHS is wonderful.
Drive the wife nuts though, she bruises and all sorts with injections.
Had my two jabs the first on the 19th of December and the second on the 9th of January, no side effects except a bit of a sore arm, so grateful to get both just before the rule changed
We had our Astra Zeneca vaccines on Saturday. Extreme tiredness and nausea on the day. My arm is still painful round the needle site but no other symptoms as yet. Husband had a rash on his arms for two days but now gone. Second jabs booked for early May. Stay safe and well everyone.
Lovely to see Mollie. Glad you’re feeling better now and hope you do get that second jab. Pete had his first one a month ago with no reaction other than a slightly raised temperature. I’m still waiting but will be there when called.
I got mine on Tuesday morning, the Pfizer one. No side effects so far so don’t expect any now. My husband had the AZ one a few days earlier and he had the tiredness, achy limbs and a bit shivery. Maybe the Pfizer one has fewer side effects?
I had the Pfizer one over a week ago with no ill effects apart from sore arm which you'd expect after having a needle poked into your arm muscle. Husband has his on Saturday and I hope he doesn't get the AZ one. He's already struggling with his post stroke pains and he just doesn't need to feel any worse 😭
Look now, im thinking of coming up with positives about being a fly all because of auto correct, lol its got me into trouble before now but off my head id say fly like symptoms ( unlike flu like symptoms) are also generally disagreeable but to a much greater degree , Glad you seem to have settled in and your owners ( mollie etc ) have staked a claim to the area , I take it a cat flap is in order ?
Omg I actually thought the fly 🪰 like symptoms could be a new strain of the virus that I wasn’t aware of Dave. 🤣😂🤣😂😳
Yes cats in charge and I can’t keep opening the door as it’s freezing leaving it ajar - because I’m renting for a year I’m not sure if it’s worth the expense and ruining the landlords door for a short period. Still thinking !
I think your right not to start attacking your landlords door kate, they generally don't take to kindly to that unless already authorised and he/ she would expect it to be replaced if and when u vacate the property, im sure mollie and Co will understand , have you made the place yours yet ? Good luck with the new place i hope your happy there .
Yep he did say I could put one in but the thought of putting it all back when I move out seems too much - I think they’ll get use to me being the doorman
