Have racked my brains endlessly

And St Anthony I have asked

For him to find your copying

As now my search has cast

A question on my sanity

I did it I am sure.

Twenty-five luuuverly copies

Twenty five and not one more

So Miss Clamp am certain sure

That Bertha did her stuff

It isn't in her innards

I checked and just found.....fluff.

I have a suspicion they went walkabout to the Classics department,instead of wending their way to Head of English!

Oh no! That sounds really annoying! Funny thing is...you really do think you’re going mad don’t you because you know you did them!

We lost one lol of our garage keys during last lockdown and have hunted high and low, but haven’t found them ever since!

I've managed to lose my favourite sleeping eye mask, similarly. No idea where it is. Have had to buy another, and good ones aren't that easy to find.

When small my children used to tell me "Mr Nobody borrowed it" whenever anything went missing.

Mr Nobody must have hoards of our"mislaid "treasures!

Yes, all my houses have had a djinn which did the same. Sometimes they turned up months later, under a bed or on the top of a wardrobe or in some other strange place that I couldn't possibly have placed them in, could I?
