Well spicy fruit Bev,i hope all that glowing in the dark has done the business and you will ripen to a nice old age but ever so slowly.good to have you back.
Morning Bev, I have recently put an Update on here as I have been quite Poorly. Look at My Avatar. I will be back as much as I can on the Forum. Stay well & safe now Bev. Much Love. C. XXX
So glad you have completed the radiotherapy Bev, good luck for 6 week test results.
Look after yourself, build the immune system back up after treatment.
Thank you BK. So nice to read your message. I am building up all the time, they say my blood work is good! I hope you're well? Let me know. Lovely Saturday for you๐ค๐โ๏ธ
Good to hear I am doing ok still not 100% but getting there, I wonder if you are confusing me with someone else, its not sunny here, but wishing you a wonderful sunny Saturday inside and out
No, not confusing you with anyone else,๐ you explained what a PE was a while back, did you not? My blood clot? Anyway, I hope you'll feel better soon, or is it going to take a longer time? I still have other therapies to undergo. I hope you have a nice Saturday, Bev๐๐พ๐น
Can't remember that GA, so much goes through my brain I don't store everything
The only thing for it, is keep on keeping on - I'm hope the sun may show up some time today so I have better be ready for when it does as it may not stop around for long.
Welcome back dear Spicy Other Bev ๐ It's good to know your therapy has finished. I hope the next stages go as well as possible ๐ค Sending you lots of sheepy hugs ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Oh well done Gingerapple! That must have been gruelling so I do hope you're feeling alright and not too exhausted. Wishing you the very best outcome ๐ ๐
Thank you so much peege, it's nice e to get so many congratulations! Not too exhausted, only after the first 3 sessions and then quite normal! I hope you're well?๐ค๐๐นโ
Yay! ๐So glad to hear you are doing okay Bev. It must have been a difficult time for you. I hope you have a lovely celebratory weekend. Take it easy and enjoy being home again. Lots of love and hugs.
Thank you for your lovely message! It was only truly gruelling travelling up to Manchester and back every day. I am feeling quite well. I hope you are well after your days in the hospital? Have a lovely weekend! Lots of love and hugs, Bev ๐๐๐น
Hi Bev, I feel better than I have for many months but I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow when the oncologist rings with the latest scan report. Somedays I'm going for the op and the chemo other days I just do not know. Would love to get away for a change but the covid gets in the way. Take care, keep in touch Jane
W ht at did the Oncologist say about your scan, should have called you now? Yes, getting away would be really great right now. Flu season and Covid, I am just going to batten down and try to pamper myself any way I can until Spring๐ค๐๐โคโ๏ธ
Wow! Well along the road now, Bev! โค๏ธ๐๐น I do so hope everything is moving forward for you after all the awful treatment. Very very best of luck with the scan, dear friend ๐ Big hug ๐ค Penny ๐ธ xx
Yes, things are progressing! The 6 weeks will fly by and then we'll see how we stand! I have positive vibes! I hope you're well and safe, Penny, have a great Sunday!๐น๐ค๐๐
Positive vibes are GOOD!! Relax and enjoy your six weeks, Bev, donโt let it just be a โwaiting timeโ....๐บ๐นIโm seeing my youngest grandchildren today ๐ฅณ a very very rare event these days. So Iโm having a treat.....I hope ๐คฃ๐ Take care and stay safe ๐ xx
I did! Cheered me up no end โค๏ธ thanks! Just what the doctor ordered....I get to feel quite stressed sometimes during this isolating pandemic. Take care, but have a bit of fun too.....๐๐๐ซ๐น xx
Great, Penny!! Shielding alone is terrible, it does leave some 'mark' I think. I will try to enjoy something, too, probably a glass of ๐ทor ๐ฅ๐ค, that's all I have left, sadly, of and music and reading, not much partying there๐๐๐คโค๐น
Fingers crossed for you with your followup CT scan. When you get copied in to the clinic letter, please do not be over concerned if there is the phrase "partial response". I have that phrase all over my subsequent clinic letters and 2.5 years later it is still slowly shrinking and no activity detected.
Realistically you cannot expect it to have gone "poof" and have disappeared, that would have caused untold radiation damage to your whole body, it is not like surgery where it is cut out. Remember it will not stop you from exercising, in fact it will be all to the good, I carried on working during and after my treatment. Wishing you well and hope you do not have any side effects from it.
Thank you for explaining this to me, I might have possibly wondered what that was but thank you in advance, I will not be shocked or surprised. I have no problems waiting. I had no real side effects really, a bit of a cough though now. I have always exercised even after the blood clot, sadly I have to take a break from some sport, my knee is playing up. Thanks always, 2greys, and I will be back with my results in due course. Have a lovely Sunday๐๐
I wish you the very best darling, i had breast cancer in 2018 had an op then a dodgy few weeks back and fore hospital and then the weeks of radiotherapy which is very tiring, i bet you're glad it's over, all the very best for good results ๐๐ xxxx
Thank you so much! Yes, it can be tiring and then the 6 week wait, but half of life is waiting! I hope you are very well now and enjoying life, in spite of Covid-19, we must still be grateful. I send you loads of love today!๐ค๐โค๐๐ฝ๐โค
