That’s a brilliant photo isn’t it!

The other day a little bird was just starting his flight in our garden & I suddenly said to my mum ‘Do you think he’s saying to himself oh I wish I hadn’t eaten that extra worm 🐛, it’s a bit hard taking off today!’ 😂😂😂

This swan 🦢 reminded me of it!

Welcome back Jolyn,are you still continuing your photographic profession? we are so blessed on this site with natural history and landscape photos from both professionals like yourself and some very gifted ameteurs such as Blackbird8 that i am sure we could compile a calender equally as good as the Countryfile one i religously purchase every year and donate the proceeds to our benefactors in the Blf.

P.s they would have to pay for the collation and printing but i am sure they would make a handsome profit.

Ergendl,In reality setting it all up would be a bit of a nightmare invoving gaining permissions from all the contributors etc etc so it was merely a muse on my part and a recognition of the quality of those pictures that are posted but thanks for the link. x

It would be great if that could inspire our talented photographers on here to put a simple calendar together to help raise funds for the BLF. I'm sure a good few of us here would make sure copies sold. Because of the way Lulu and other similar self-publishing websites work, the calendar can be put together for free, and a basic cost price given for just some work designing it with online tools. Then a post inviting people to say how many they want, so the print run will be no more than what people say they want... But now my own imagination is running away with me.

Crack on my love,you are now officially elected as chief calender compiler for the dodgy lung club,Scruff's has voluntered to represent any animals portrayed in photgraphs submitted for a small fee(she does nowt for owt) and a limited company will be set up at your disposal. x

Ha ha ha! I'm busy publishing my own creations, so don't want to get into too much aggro misappropriating the beautiful photos by BB and our other illustrious photographers!

A local photographer does calendars of Crewe to raise money each year for the Mayor's chosen charity, so it can be done.

You're pic of the Swan reminds me that we are seeing the arrival of migrating birds from Russia ,Iceland etc. at this time.today it was mostly noisy formation flying geese ,they are lovely to see but it they always fortell the arrival of winter , good to know you're OK, all is good this end we as a family have been spared covid,
