Frothy Cough with ILD???

Does anyone get productive cough (only on exhertion) with interstitial lung disease?? If I exhert myself in any way now, I produce clear but sticky, frothy bubbles that stops me in my tracks!! This contradicts anything I've read online.

I have some fibrosis. My consultant is investigating lupus but I do have pneumonitis as well.
